In June 2025, the Trump Organization launched Trump Mobile, introducing the T1 smartphone ($499) and a wireless service plan priced at $47.45 per month. This marked the latest extension of a brand that has covered everything from bottled water to fragrances to reality television.
Why Trump’s Trademark Strategy Matters
Trump’s approach to trademarks reflects an aggressive “file everything” philosophy. As trademark attorney Josh Gerben noted to the Wall Street Journal, the strategy is to “file as many trademarks as you can, for as many products and services as you can possibly try to put in the marketplace, and see what works.”
